The James Patterson Community

International conspiracies, cloak and dagger suspects, and edge of your seat action can all be found in the novels of Steve Berry. One can expect all the qualities described above inside the covers of his books, as well as engaging characters and a fun little side lesson on some secrets many may not know about not just the U.S., but different parts of the world as well. While he has done fantastic stand-alone work, his biggest success is the Cotton Malone series, about a former top gun with the U.S. Justice Department, now a antiquarian book dealer in Copenhagen, who has been forced back into the fray of his old life to save those closest to him, as well as a nation at large. Those who enjoy a well built, well paced international mystery, then I strongly suggest Steve Berry.

Cotton Malone

2. The Alexandria Link (2007)
3. The Venetian Betrayal (2007)
4. The Charlemagne Pursuit (2008)

Just finished the" Charlamagne Pursuit". Great as usual. I pass the books on to friends as I know this author doesn't disappoint.I wish he wrote as fast as I read.

More books to look for at the library! I have heard of Steve Berry but never read any of his books. From your intro to the Cotton Malone Series I will have to put these books and this author on my must read list, which, through interacting with people on this website is getting quite long! For someone who is disabled and cannot get around too well good books are like candy to a sweet tooth ( which, by the way, I am also)! Thank God the Tacoma Public Library has a good selection!
