Hey everybody,

I wanted to share some great news with you: James is collaborating on an international thriller with Liza Marklund, Scandinavia's bestselling female crime writer! She's been a number 1 bestseller in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Iceland, and her debut wasn't knocked out of number 1 in Sweden until 17 months later...by her next book!

Marklund recently reported that the project was going really well. She said: “Writing this book is so much fun. The story is violent, emotional, and fast paced. It’s very exciting to work with such an intelligent and creative writer. James Patterson is not only exceptionally smart and funny, he is also incredibly humble." Sounds just right to me.

You should read more about Liza here. There's a lot to learn about her--like how she's a UNICEF goodwill ambassador and a winner of both the Swedish Literary Prize for Best Novel of the Year and the Swedish Union's Author of the Year award. And you should definitely check out some of her books over at Amazon.

So get excited for the book to come out in 2010. All I really know about it right now is that it's based in Stockholm, Sweden, and I'll blog more when I know more.

I've read one of her books and im pretty suprised James is collabarting with her. Shes a intelligent writer but one thing shes not is suspenseful.You never know it could work lets wait and see.
