I'm currently working on a novel but at the same time I've written several short stories and I'm looking for an outlet to publish them. I've looked at WritersDigest and it's great, I'm going to send some in to their contests but I was wondering if anyone knew of any magazines currently accpeting story submissions?

Ok, so this is my first time EVER posting a blog let alone signing up for any website but I decided to try it out since I would come to this site basically everyday to read the latest and greatest. I have to say James Patterson is a great author, I love his books though I haven't read them all. I have read all the Alex Cross books and I am super excited about I, Alex Cross. I can't wait to get it! I have also been reading the Maximum Ride series lately. I started the Maximum Ride series about a…

Just finished this. I smiled only once. Hope Cory does more research into his condition and does not take this less troubled time for granted. It is Cory who must take comfort that there are people out here with just as much suffering if not more. No one is perfect and society needs to be more knowing about mental problems. Nothing unique about Cory's pain it is out here - just needs people like James Patterson to write about these things.

Scott was chaos360. For some reason....................it didn't surprise me. A part of me, for some reason, kind of hoped that he was chaos.
"Wow." I said
"Yeah. I know." he said
"What now?"
"You seem disappointed."
"No, I'm not."
"Good. Neither am I."
A cool breeze made it's way and made me shiver.
"It's getting cold. I better go."
"How did you get here?"
"Cab."
"How are you getting home?"
"Cab."
"No."
"No?"
"I'm driving you home."
I refused to argue.
On the way home we talked about different…

It was Saturday, the time 11:30 am. Today's the day, I thought, This is the day you've been looking forward to all week. Today's the day you meet chaos 360. Grace was at work as usual and Victor was in court by now defending his client. The twins were in the backyard and Ricky was in the kitchen pouring himself a glass of orange juice.
"Where are you going?"said Ricky making me jump
"Don't do that. I hate it when you use to do it and I still do."
"Sorry. But you didn't answer my question, where…

I was running there were trees all around me. It was raining. The thunder echoed in my ears, while the lighting blinded me. My feet were piercing with pain. Rocks and twigs under my feet. Stopping to cathc my breath, I noticed...... I wasn't alone. Footsteps breaking twigs. I started to run again. A root made me trip and fall on something. A body. A bloody body. It wasn't just any body, it was Ricky's. A loud scream made it pass me wet lips. I scrambled to my feet, only to be knocked down again.…

Scott and I got the kids and headed home. Jeff, Molly, and Michael talked about school and other stuff. Scott and I on the other hand didn't talk what so ever. Honestly I didn't know what was going through this head. But one thing was for sure, and that was, I knew what was going through mine. Matthew. Today was the first time that I was certain that it was truly him and hopefully it would be the last time I would see him, but with Matthew.......nothing is certain. I could feel his hand explorin…

Getting up is always a hard thing to do. Until you realize it's Friday and then your attitude takes a huge turn. The one thing I was looking forward to was meeting Chaos. What did he look like? Who is he really in the real world and not in the cyber world?
"Morning Zeva." Victor said
"Morning dad. Where's mom?"
"I don't know. She's probably headed to the office early."
"Ok."
"Do you now when the Walker's kid going to pick you up?"
"Dad he lives right next door."
"That's right. Well it's polite t…

I was running down a long, dark, narrow hall. There was a white door at the end. Finally I reached it and quickly opened it. I went through and bumped into something or someone.
"Zeva, wake up." a faint voice said
I felt my body shake.
"ZEVA!"
I opened my eyes and saw Molly a few inches away from me.
"What?" I said, my voice very sleepy
"Dinner's ready."
"Ok. I'll be down in three minutes."
"Okay."
Molly skipped her way out of my room as I just layed there on my bed. As looked down I n…

Months passed and my family and I were finally finished moving in to our new home. A few weeks ago Scott and his family came over to welcome us to the neighborhood. His parents said they were sorry for not coming over before. They were in England. The twins loved their new school. I to must admit that Bayview and San Francisco was growing on me. Chaos was right. Him and I talked everyday. Every now and then he would ask if we could meet and each time, I had no choice but to make up an excuse. I…

While walking to school, I kept having the distinct feeling that I was being followed. But whenever I looked back to see if I was...............there was nobody. At school I looked for Bianca and Anne. They were with William and Alex.
"Zeva what happened last night?" Alex asked as I came closer
"Yeah, you were suppose to call to say if you were going or not." William said while putting his arm around Bianca
"Yeah I know. I'm sorry. i was really busy. You know with unpacking."
"Oh, that's alright…

At home we were alone, in the kitchen there was a note,
"Thank you for picking up the kids. Your father will be home hopefully by five. As for me I don't know. Order some pizza or something. Love you. Mom."
Wow somethings never change, I thought.
Grace did almost the same thing back home. But instead of leaving a note, she would call. I was walking pass the living room, when I heard a noise. It was Sponge Bob Square Pants.
"Look Zeva, tv."
"I see Molly."
I guess Victor must have set it up last n…

The twins' school was a few blocks down from Bayview. After I parked the car, I went to find them. There were a lot of kids waiting for their parents to pick them up and parents looking for their kids. Jeff and molly were sitting down under a tree.......and they were also with someone.
"JEFF, MOLLY!" I yelled
They saw me and began to run towards me, with a little boy behind them.
"Hi." Molly said
"Hi."
"Zeva this is our new friend Michael. Michael this is our sister Zeva."
"It's a pleasure to me…

"Zeva get up. Time for school." yelled Victor
7:30am. The beginning of my soon to be worst day ever. Downstairs Grace and Victor drank coffee, while Jeff and Molly ate pancakes.
"Zeva do you want something to eat? Victor asked
"No thanks, I'll pass."
"Your going to wear that to school? Grace asked while handing me my lunch
I was wearing Blue skinny jeans, black tank top, my black converse, and my leather jacket.
"Yup. Mom can I use your car?"
"Um, sure I guess. I'll just ask your dad if he can t…
