John Masse Reader Review of "The Murder of King Tut" by James Patterson and Martin Dugard

A boy of controversy. A boy destined for greatness, tragedy, and power. A boy, who at the age of nine, was asserted to the highest titile in Egypt. Pharoah. King Tut was one of Egypts leaders almost forgotten, if it weren't for Howard Carter's 1922 excavation of his 3,000-year-old tomb. Since then, the Boy King has been a wonder. Many still question how he came to meet his end so soon in life, though many scholars chalk it up to an untreated injury. Some, though, believe it is something more sin… Continue

Mary Jane Lewis Swimsuit

I have been reading some of the comments, made on some of the other books by J.P. and I for one disagree with them. If swin suit was apiece of garbage, then why did you finish reading it? I own , and have read, all of Pattersons books except I, Alex Cross, which is I am waiting for, in the mail. I can hardly wait. This writer is one of the greatest.Someone sent me,Along Came A Spider, soft-cover book, after I joined this Community. I want to THANK THEM, even though I have this, in my collection.… Continue

Sandra L Benzer Concerned

Mr. Patterson's latest books have been so violent that I hesitate to read more. A friend of mine warned me about "Swimsuit," saying it was very violent & gross. My husband just said that he's concerned because "Cross Country" was so violent. Anybody agree? Disagree? Continue

janette kay (rickman) haggard the new book

i brought my copy of I, Alex Cross at 11am yesterday morning & finished last night at 11p.m. It was the best Alex Cross book yet, but the best part was at the end when alex gets the phone call from kyle craig, craig is just bad through and through, we need a big showdown with him and alex just then two, because alex could take him anyday and anytime of the week, plus i just loved it when Nanna mommy pulled through she is just a good charcter, she is sweet and strong at the same time, that's… Continue

arthur arthur Along Came a Spider - Reflections as I finish

It’s getting late and I’ve still got a few pages to go in Along Came a Spider. I’ve been trying to plow through it this evening, hoping to find some more plot twists and excitement around every page. Usually the short chapters in a Patterson novel are great ways for leaving cliff-hangers at the end of each one, but this book really drags in the middle. There are a lot of scene where Patterson develops the Cross / Jezzie love relationship, which is pretty boring overall. I’m waiting for the detai… Continue
