Wednesday 25 Novemeber. Hi to a dear long time since visited friend. Sherri From Kentucky. I sat down at the computer this morning to send an email to my son Bill and his wife Katherine and wilson their black lab. Wilson has decided he is a person too. Wow , it has been such a long, long, time since we visited . I am so so sorry about that. Lots has been going on in my life and it is sapping my emotions and strength. I know that the last time we talked was during the nine day black out in the state. You were in my thoughts and prayers each day. This past fall I cant remember the month Louisville was underwater for a bout a week. I could not believe the photos I saw on the internet. There was one bridge that goes over UofL and it was 14 inches underwater. Bill said lots of the buildings first floor class rooms and offices had some water damage as did the library in town all the books on the first level were destroyed.Uof L even made and sold tee shirts to raise money for assistance to the community. Are you continuing to read jp . What other authors do you like? I am currently reading stuart Woods. He is a good author alot like jp . Each page flows into the next and you can stay on task and just keep reading. Have you read jp latest, swim suit, trial, I alex Cross? It is so good to visit with you . I have missed our visits. It helps so much for all of the hours I am alone. Please so write. Love and hugs Barb

Hi Sherry. I have read Malice but can't remember too much about it. I'm reading Tami Hoag's Dark Paradise. So far so good. Hoags books are sometimes very gruesome. hope this one isnt. Swimsuit was a bit disappointing for me. So much violence and gore. Wish he'd ease off on that stuff a bit. Beautiful weather here this week. 40's in am and low 70's day. Hope it stays. catch ya later.

still havent gotten The Neighbor but its on my to do list. I just finished JP's Swimsuit. How gory! Like Gardners books. I'm ready for I, Alex Cross. Its looks real good.I'm surprised Swimsuit got such good reviews. Guess theres a lot of people out there who get into all that killing and details about every little thing. ugh! think I need an uplifting book now.

Hi Sherry,
Im so sorry that I have taken so long to respond to your comment. I will do my best to answer all your questions. I bet a lot has changed since then too lol
Im hanging in there Hun Im still having a lot of ups and downs but Im still taking one day at a time and trying to enjoy life as much as possible = )
My mothers day was ok I THINK LOL

How is Lauren doing these days? Did she have the oral surgery?

Hopefully you have survived? lol

How's your close friend the one that has breast cancer?
The minute I feel something strange I call the doctor.

My sons friend that had the brain surgery is doing great thank you.
He was over here not too long ago and you would have never known what he had been through unless you knew. Its amazing. He was very lucky.

How are your migraines doing?

During the summer the kids and I just hung around and tried to stay busy. We really didn't do anything special this time = (
But we were just happy that they were out of school and that was enough for us lol

Well once again im sorry that I took so long
Hope to hear from you soon
Take Care

Thanks for asking, he's the same he came home from the hostipal Fri.I've been good this week. I don't cry as much, I'm coming to terms w/ the fact he will have peace. I know how you must feel seeing a parent go through this. My father is not good, 1) he thinks he's going to get better 2)he doesn't want to talk about. I've been reading Lost souls by Lisa Jackson. We have had cold rain here past couple days. Your girls get fall break, are they off all week? We are suppose to get warm weather here next few days. ttyl

HI Sherry. I havent read The Neighbor yet....its on my list to get. I'm reading The Survivors Club by L. Gardner...try it if you havent. it is pretty good. A few of her other ones like Say Goodbye are a bit creepy with sick guys doing sick things. I just about put that one down but had to get thru it to find out the ending. On another note, I'm so excited that fall is about here. I'm so tired of the hot weather. Looking forward to cool, crisp days and nights. Arent you?
