I went to Wal Mart and bought a spiral cut ham, it sure doesn't look as good as the one I bought at Sam's, guess I'll have to drive back over there next time and hope they have them. It was delicious and didn't have fat in it like this one does. I'm going to use the glaze that came with it, never have maybe it will taste great. Of course there was no directions with it, but I had a package of glaze I hadn't used on the last one, so at least it had directions on it. I guess your supposed to know how to mix it up and use it.
Have fun shopping if you go, Dave would have no clue what to buy anyone since I always did the Christmas shopping.

Nothing wrong with canned biscuits, I like those better than home made ones. Which I would never make anyway. Mine would be hard as a rock if I tried to make them. I don't even make home made white gravy anymore, I just buy the package. I know , I'm lazy or just like the easy way. Plus I hardly ever have milk.
The banana chocolate chip bread came out good, of course he wanted a little icing on it so I just made some chocolate powdered sugar icing for it. Sure is sweet though.Plus its harder to eat with the icing on it.
Now your making me want fried potato's, gravy and biscuits, sure sounds good. I haven't fixed that in a long time. Maybe I'll do that Sunday, sounds like a good lunch to me, plus quick and easy.
Is your eye still bothering you or is it feeling better by now, Maybe you will remember how to read, LOL.
Well, NCIS is coming on so guess I'd better get off and go watch it. TTYL.

Well, tried to nap but couldn't , of course. So I was in the baking mood made 2 banana nut breads, for neighbors Christmas presents, then decided I wanted something sweet, so I'm making a banana - chocolate chip bread for us. Hope it turns out good. Next I'm making some apple cinnamon streusel breads. I bought a box mix of the cinnamon muffin mix and just going to add some chopped apples to it, sounds good anyway, and hopefully they turn out good. Dave said next he wants me to make blueberry muffins or bread. I usually cheat and just buy the mixes, I'm too much of a slob in the kitchen when I have the flour out, I have it everywhere. LOL.

Sounds like you had a good time shopping. I don't guess it has warmed up there any yet. It's still below 50 but the wind is really blowing and it is still a might chilly outside.
I'm glad I don't have any kids to buy for, I never knew what to buy boy's especially. Of course I've never been around kids much anyway. Never lived close enough to be around my brothers kids, one lived in Ca. and the other one always lived about 5 hours away.
Guess it's nearly nap time since I woke up at 4;30 and never went back to sleep. I did finally wash sheet and mopped so I did get something done this morning. Now its time to rest. LOL. so I'll TTYL.

I can sure tell the cool front got here, it really started getting cooler about 8 tonight. That sucks, I don't like the cold at all. It makes my knees hurt more and makes Dave's back and hip hurt. He hasn't felt that good the last week or so. My wind chimes on the patio are really making noise and the wind doesn't help at all, does it?
I guess your all happy about the game working again , aren't you?
I'm recording 2 shows on the DVR so I can't watch another channel so guess I'll just start reading early and try to finish my book I'm reading. I think I read it about 1 yr. ago but didn't mark it and didn't remember reading it because it wasn't worth reading again. After I finish it I'll be sure and put in the bag of books I'm going to sell at the book store. Not that you get very much money out of them. When I was getting rid of about 300 or more romance books I used to read, I was taking a lot of them to sell and I just didn't get much for them so the rest of them I just donated to the library. Some of them they would only give me about 10 cents for, so it was a waste of time.
Guess I'll go start on my book again, not as good as I usually like because its more of a mystery book than a serial killer one, but it's ok for a change.
Have fun shopping and hopefully you find some cute stuff for he kids.

Did you have fun shopping today? Get a lot of goodies for the kids? I didn't do much, just fixed lunch and vacuumed this afternoon, what a thrill!
I went across to my neighbors house to see her pom puppies and she only has 1 left. I brought it over here for about 1 hour while she went to pick up her little boy from pre kindergarten, I saw him looking out the front door and decided I had better take the puppy home. It sure is cute, nearly has marks around his eyes like a raccoon. Chico was jealous of him of course and Cody and Harley just smelled of him.

It was close to 70 this afternoon and its only going to be in the 50's the rest of the week. Of course I'm sure still a lot warmer than your weather.

After I did the David Copperfield thing a few times, I figured out what the trick was, None of the face cards are on the bottom that are on the top, I wrote the cards down that are on the top, then checked the bottom cards. Kind of ruined it all, right? It was fun while it lasted though.
I went to the grocery store for some crescent rolls and yogurt and of course found other stuff I thought I needed and spent $28. That is always the way it goes, go for a few things and get a lot more than you were planning on. I looked at the hams but they had a bone in them, don't want the bone, just a spiral cut ham with no bone. Guess that is why they were a good price.
Good luck on your Christmas shopping.

That has to be annoying not being able to see clear, can you manage seeing the computer. Your long lost friend and you hooked up that's a true friend and that's rare really. I don't know you real well, but I think I know enough about you too see you are a giver, you would give a stranger your last dime I think. Your friend really cares about you. My husband is home today, si I have some shopping to do Samantha's bday is next week, so I want to get her a new winter jacket. Later

We slept late this morning, didn't get up until nearly 7. What lazy bums! I woke up earlier but just laid there, sure felt good to.
Guess my big plans for the day is to vacuum and heat up lunch, what a thrill, right?'Its still foggy outside but is supposed to be about 60 but goes to crap the rest of the week. Guess I'll be staying in and trying to keep warm.
Our mall is lousy that is close to me, just about all of the good stores have moved, the Penny's moved out about 10 yrs. ago Foley's charges to Macy's and they are way too expensive and Sears is the only bi store and the only time I go in there is for yard stuff. I guess the only other store I ever look in is Bath and Body Works. Most of the stores just sell teeny bop-per type clothes. Our Dillards changed into a clearance outlet and is real junky, so I never go in there either. So there aren't very many places to clothes shop out there unless your a teenager.
