Hi Lorriane,

How are you? I'm doing great. I haven't really been on the site in a while. What have you been up to?

The only one of those that I am familiar with is JK. The others I have never heard of. Keep reading and enjoy your retirement!

Not a problem at all. Sounds like you are like me, you read one or two of Pattersons then one or two by another author and so on. I am currently reading All That Remains by Patricia Cornwell. I have Kiss The Girls by Patterson on the table to read next, then Bones by Jonathan Kellerman. They are two of my other favorite authors.

Lorraine,
Season of The Machete is the second book JP wrote. It was published in 1977. It is an excellent read, I think you will enjoy it. I am currently reading all of JP's books from the first one published on. You really get a feel for his writing style doing that. Try it! Keep reading!

I'm sorry Lorraine - ignore my question. I just reread your email and you've already told me what you're reading! I need a break from work, I think!!

Hi Lorraine! I'm sorry I missed your email the other day. I have had one huge ROTTEN headache. A big front moved through here last night, and I am much better today, thank goodness! I am reading THE SOURCE by James Michener. It's slow going - over 1,000 pages, I just hit 800 - but it is SOOOOO good. From here I go to Sunday at Tiffany's. I also have my afghan sewed together, and am now tying and hiding loose ends. I think I have about 200 of them! :( Anyway, already thinking about what I will 'sew' next.... I now have about 10 used books to read, maybe more. I need to get on them! This weekend my husband and I are going to look through our Fanny Farmer baking book and find something we haven't made before. If you're into cakes, that book has a banana cake that is really to DIE for. What are you reading now?
