I am a writer. I am looking for clues, inspiration, and discussion in Mystery and murder stories, a genre I am not very knowledgeable of.

What is your favorite James Patterson book?
'Kiss the Girls'
But, to be honest, I haven't finished it yet. (00ps)
"Now comes the scariest, most unforgettable novel in several years. In Los Angeles, a reporter investigating a series of murders is killed. In Chapel Hill, North Carolina, a beautiful medical intern suddenly disappears. Washington D.C.'s Alex Cross is back to solve the most baffling and terrifying murder case ever. Two clever pattern killers are collaborating, cooperating, competing- and they are working coast to coast."
How many Patterson's have you read?
I'm a Patterson Rookie.
Why are you here?
What do you know? I'm a writer myself.

Hey my new friend - Sorry for taking so long to respond but my schedule was hectic - So welcome and lets hope that we can have scintillating chats about the latest trends out there and of course all the wonderful books that JP writes.
hiya, yeh pig flu big news over here 2, hopefully it will pass soon, too many people worry, how comes u hav given up the booze, u must be too young for that, i c u are a writer and trust me if u carry on readin a few more patterson books you really cant go wrong there for ideas, im not sure how u feel about the short chapters, but it works for me as its harder to put the book down because the chapters end with u wanting to read on, im a bit of a patterson fan, i have all his signed 1st editions which hav cost me a bit to collect, and have them all except for the angel experiment u.s edition, but im not really a sado, just get a bit addicted to things, even tho i live in england my 1st passion is the san francisco 49ers, tho later this year in october i have tickets to see the new england patriots in london, and this a regular season game v the tampa bay bucs, im a big football fan, and used to play a bit as im 6'5" and had a good arm and played for an english team when i was young, anyway thats enough about me and to finish with i just have to say you look pretty hot babe, thanks for the shout, alan
Howdy. Given that you are in New England, and you aspire to write ... you should know about Grub Street Muse and Marketplace conference coming up in Boston in April: http://www.grubstreet.org/index.php?id=173 - I attended last year and found it hugely helpful.
Hi Kirsten,
Good luck with your writing!
