I wonder who thought that one up? Then they wonder why nobody comes on anymore...
Oh dear, Tom does sound poorly, one of these days they'll have to take him to hospital, poor man. My mother had that too, but not so bad, she did'nt imagine things, she just kept forgetting everything.
I've got a couple of Kathy Reichs books, its been a long time since I've read them though, I do remember they were good. That AC sounds typical JP, I'll have to get that, I had the same thing with The Quickie.
It was sunny and cold here this morning too, now its up and down, one minute rain, the other sun....I managed to get Marge out at least, she would'nt go out until six pm last night. Be careful, there's a lot of flu about, Paul has been complaining with his knees too, I think the damp has a lot to do with it. Be careful....you'll be getting fat, although I'm a good one talking, I can't keep my hands off anything either! lol
I hope the operation goes well for you, I agree, its better to lose some feeling in your elbow and have your hand better, pity about the scar though, but still as long as it helps...
It won't be long now, time does fly, Christmas will be here before we know it. Good luck and keep me informed.

Hi Chris, I wonder why that is? I don't think it used to be like that. Thats good, its about time the police did something about these kids, the parents don't seem to care less either, as long as they're at their ease, somebody else has to put up with them. I hope it works out.
I would like to get that dvd, the trouble is with my hearing I do need subtitles, I would be able to get all these dvd's on Amazon but they're rarely undertitled, I wish I could do something about that, its not fair, I mean I'm the only one who's hard of hearing, you miss out on such a lot that way, luckily I can get hold of a lot here, but they're more expensive than Amazon.
They go well together then lol It isn't a canary by any chance? Maybe it's imitating someone....He should teach it to talk, they can talk very well, I remember mine did, he used to love running on the table and looking at himself in the sugar bowl, it was a struggle to get hold of a lump of sugar, I can tell you! lol. Mad Maggie does sound awful....we call Marge Maggie sometimes, but not mad Maggie! I pity that blokes wife, she must have had a life with him!
Yes, I'm looking forwards to it, we've been planning that for years, we'll just have to see about getting around with the underground in London, but I don't suppose its all that difficult, I still have to look it up on internet. I hope it does'nt pour all the time, it is risky.
Thats not a bad idea, I'll look into that.Thats handy too with the library, its all with the internet now isn't it, we would be in a right state if they stopped it all of a sudden...imagine!
I've got one of those topper mattrasses too, they're good are'nt they, I do prefer a nice soft mattrass instead of these hard things, they say those hard ones are better for your back, but I don't like them.
Ha, thats always the same isn't it, things can be so awkward.
I'm going over my 2OO letters here so I'll have to write two messages....

Hi Christine Bonner: Barbara Vesely here. What a wonderful surprise to so hear from you again. I am having a sappy teary day and your letter has helped me so much. I did look at face book after I read your note that you are on it. I have to admit I am not so sure what it is all about. I have heard horror stories about Craigslist and is it the same. Please tell me more about it. Is it free. What do you say when your become part of it. I looked at the four mentioned categories and I am so confused. Your input would be very helpful. Be good, take care, write when you can. Barbara

Hi, Don't worry, its ok. I'm surprised you have'nt read any Dan Brown books yet, not even the Da Vinci Code? I still have'nt got round to reading Lisa Gardner yet either, something always seems to come in between, so many books and so little time.....
Yes, its like that here too, its not too cold, its been quite sunny too, just the odd shower, today its cloudy though, I agree its either too hot or too cold, bad weather for catching something, my son and daughter in law both had the swine flu, but they're over it now.
I'm still waiting for that man to come and see to the electricity in the garage, we do have communial electricity but we would like to have a seperate currant so we can get the freezer going, I'm getting fed up of squeezing everything in the one I've got here, I can't buy so much frozen foods it gets so full and I would like to stock up when we go to the english shop. It must be difficult for you to carry the stuff upstairs, you'll have to divide it so its not too heavy. Oh dear, you sound like me, I can't keep off anything either, these days I do nothing but eat Maltesers.....better to buy the stuff for Christmas a bit later on, you know what we're like! lol.
Yes, do let me know how it goes, I hope its the last op you have to have, its been enough!
Me too, they don't make them like that these days....I was living here when the Darling Buds of May was on, so I've never seen it, it sounds good, I'll have to try and get a hold of them, I've got quite a collection going in these old shows, I just can't resist them!
I know what you mean, my daughter always uses that when she has a cold, I tried it too in the old days when I had a bath, it was good, I seem to remember it was from Vicks, pity we can't use that any more with a shower. Isn't it always the same, you find something good and then they take it off the market, it never used to be like that, you could use the same products for years....
Thats good about the police, its about time they did something about that, its a disgrace you don't dare to go out after nightfall. I go earlier with Marge now too, before it gets dark, its gone quiet here now and you never know, I don't know if I can depend on Marge if anything was to happen, I've no idea, I've no intention of trying it out either! lol
You're lucky, I've got the ordinary flu jabs in, I still have to go to the doctor with them, but swine flu jabs.....forget it, first its the elderly then its the sick, then its the kids....I don't know when it will be our turn.....typical!! I'm glad you've had yours anyway. I always have a sore arm after a jab, I thought it was the doctor's fault, I don't know.....
Well thats good news about the nutter, its always good to hear someones doing better, a budgie....that takes me back, I had one as a child, Joey his name was, he could talk too!
I've still got a lot of AC books on my wish list, we are coming over to London for Christmas and the appartment we've rented is just above Tesco's so I'm waiting to get them then, Tesco's are cheap with books are'nt they. Its a pity they cut down the time limit at the library but can't you take your card in to have the book a bit longer? It used to be like that but maybe thats all changed, especially with a new one. I'm way behind with my reading, imagine, I still have to read Swimsuit!!
Yes, that would be better for you, I don't think you could do something strenuous, I could'nt either, I've been at it here all week, now I feel it in my back and its only a small appartment, imagine having to do that sort of work on top of it, I don't think we could walk after a week! Thats good with a high wind, you don't have to iron, its been windy here too for a couple of days, its calmed down now. That bed sounds cozy, isn't it always the same when you buy something.....I thought that only happened to me, I don't know what it is these days, its as if they don't like selling stuff, you'd think it would be better with ecomony the way it is! My curtain fabric arrived last week at last, I sweated blood and tears with that, first they would'nt accept my credit card, then I sent a cheque, that was no good either, they sent it back, in the end I just mailed my card details and all of a sudden everything was in order, I tell you! It went on for three weeks!!
I'm so sorry to hear about Tom, my mother was just the same, she had to take water tablets too, I tried to keep an eye on her but it was'nt easy, I'm sure she never took them either, it sounds just like the thing my mother had, her feet were terribly swollen but she was lucky she never hurt herself and got an infection. I'm sorry, it sounds like Tom won't be around for much longer, poor man! Thats the best thing you can do is have the nurse to cheque, its as though they just give up......
I'll look out for your pics! I sure Mr Mickey is getting on your nerves, I would try one of those things you plug in, I hope it helps, you know how it goes, in the end you'll have a whole regiment of them! Of course you know how you feel, it must have been very painfull, I used to get that a lot, the only thing you can do is drink a lot and keep warm and maybe cranberry tablets.....that is good that everyone helps each other, but still I understand what you mean with not bothering people all the time, I would be like that too. It will take some time for your hands to heal, I hope it won't take too long and that they will be better with the coming operation.
That Ricky is real twerp!! Does'nt he know what she's like yet? Paul just hates that Sam, can't stand her....lol He was glad she went away yesterday, it won't be for long though I think. I don't know where I read it but Archie does get shot I think, that will most probably be something for Christmas.Holby and Waterloo Road are good too are'nt they.....
You do feel like throwing the ruddy pc out of the window sometimes don't you....mine can act up too! Yes thanks, I am better, those lemon drinks helped.
Ok Chris, it was good to hear from you, we will chat again soon, either here or fb, don't worry about taking some time to answer, its ok. Love from Margie and me!!

FIND YOUR THANKFUL SELF by Joanna Fuchs

Sometimes you feel you're nothing at all,
And that's all you'll ever be
you study all the defects,
An empty life is all you see.

Instead of looking at what you haven't got,
Seeing only what you lack,
Focus on your blessings,
And get right back on track.

There are many good things about being you,
Count them one by one,Your life has lots of comforts,
While others, they have none.

Many people have it much, much worse
Yet theyhave happiness,
They take joy in little things
They're thankful, though they have less.

Lift your spirits up right now,
Get out of that depression,
Find your thankful self,
And give it full expression.

Find the joy in little things,
Focus on the fun and laughter
See life's blessing all around,
And live happily ever after.
