Hey Charles!
What's happen? Surviving the global collapse OK?
When you've got nit wits running the countries not much hope.
What's happening with the teaching and are you still working for the law firm?
All's well here and the days are getting cooler. Heading into our Autumn.
We have had some shocking bushfires in Victoria recently and flooding in Queensland not to mention the drought in between. Talk about a country of contrasts. But we lover it. No better lifestyle anywhere.
Hope all is going well for you. Catch ya soon.

Hi there Charles
Chrissy is over here for another year and new year just peeking around the corner.
We had a nice Chrissy in Wagga Wagga although it was around 37 degrees and hot winds. Could have done without that bit. Santy came more then he should have
Not sure what's happening new year yet will just let it surprise me, more fun that way.
Hope you and yours had a wonderful Chrissy Holiday too and all the best for 2009... do take care on those slippery icy roads we see on the news here.
Will catch up again in 2009.

Charles,
Nice job on the JP 2009 Book Line Up!

I write sports mysteries. My series is called the Deadly Sports Mysteries . Sudden Death, the first book in the series was endorsed by JP and Clive Cussler.
When you get a chance, please check out the new video trailer and let me know what you think of it.

Hi Charles how are things going with your final exams etc.?
It's only 4 weeks till Christmas and I have no idea where the last year has gone.
God it has just vanished... I have no recollection of what's been happening.
You get on that mad treadmill of life and days turn into nights and nights into days and then it's all over.
Your life is gone in a flash and you don't remember a dam thing. Geez listen to me... talk about gloom and doom. Sorry about that, but this last year has just disappeared.
Just had a quick read of the excerpts from the new Alex Cross book "Across Country" and I will need to get that to have a look at over the Christmas break.
We will be having a big family get together. Heading over to Wagga Wagga in NSW to one of my brothers for Christmas Eve. Christmas Day we will head around to another brother who also lives there but on the other side of the city. We will probably have cold meals as we are into our summer here and you can't beat a good cold beer on a stinking hot day.
Wagga is classified as an inland city and is about an hour drive from where I live. Highway all the way so smooth driving.
We are not buying gifts for each other this year. Just too expensive trying to buy for everyone. Have decided that we will buy for the "little ones" - the grand nieces and nephews. There are five of them - 3 boys and two girls ranging in ages 4 weeks to 3 1/2 years. I just love them. They are so much fun and help keep you young. Same goes for neices and nephews all who are in their 20's. I have an 18yr niece and she is kind of special. She was born 2 months after mum passed on and I'm sure mum - or part of her -came back with Jess. No I'm not nuts.... but she is a gorgeous and old fashion girl.
As you've probably guessed I don't have children of my own, but this lot keep me young and we all have the same whacky sense of humor.
How about you? You travel for Christmas or your family nearby?
What sort of work do you do in the law firm? Are you studying law?
In case I don't get back to you between now and Christmas, I hope you have lots of fun, relaxation and Santa brings you all you wish for. Have a safe, happy and merry Christmas and all the best for 2009
Take care
Maureen

Hi Charles,
Glad you like the blogs. It is always so nice to meet fans. Ah, I feel so "Hollywood" saying that lol.
Well, what you want to read depends greatly on what you style is. I have enjoyed the Kinsey Millhone series by Sue Grafton, most any book by Michael Connelly, the Jack Reacher series by Lee Child, and the Sisterhood series by Fern Michaels.
There are just so many good books/authors out there to read, I feel I can't list them all here. That is why I started the blogs. But I also like reading Lisa Gardner, Karin Slaughter, Lawrence Sanders, James Grippando, the 24 Declassified series (based of the tv show "24"), Jason Pinter, and Keith Ablow.
For specific books, I loved "The Society" by Michael Palmer, as well as "Killer Takes All" by Erica Spindler. But before you read "Killer Takes All", you have to read "See Jane Die". Both stories share an important character, and you'd get confused reading one before the other.
Hope I have helped. How are you? What are you currently reading?
Have a great weekend.
