Why are you here?

Reading groups and gab., Sleuthing and thrills and maybe the off Murdertini!, Any friend of James is a friend of mine!

I am a married 49 year old grandmother and mother of a 24 year old US Marine.
I volunteer at a no-kill animal rescue, but also have 12 cats and 4 dogs of my own, that enjoy 5 acres at my home, "Roseview".
We live in a county that is only 85 square miles total. It only has one traffic light which is on a bridge that opens for boats. We love it!!

I love God, spending time with my family and helping those that need or can't help them selves. Two and four legged!!!

I specially enjoy spending time with my grand daughter Samantha (AKA Abby).
On most days, my son is also my best friend.

I am an avid reader of all kinds of books. I really enjoy mysteries that include animals. I have recently rediscovered the library and am working my way through a long list of "must reads".
I enjoy meeting new people and discovering new authors.

I also enjoy fishing, NASCAR, dirt racing, jigsaw puzzles (are the best!), gardening, cross stitch, crossword puzzles, board games and trying to cook new things.

The music I have is a variety of styles. Different. Varied. Just like me!
