Hi April, how are you? I'm sorry for the delay in writing, this year has been full on for me. How has your reading been going? I finish up work in 8 weeks for maternity leave so I'm hoping to get stuck into my books during that time. I'm reading an old Patricia Cornwell at the moment, Hornets Nest. I'm enjoying it so far. Hope to your doing well and would love to hear from you again. Take care!

I've never watched the masterchef but a lot of my friends have. I have so many other shows I like to see so there are some I just have to miss. My husband only likes the plain meals he was brought up on and I waste my time cooking anything else. As he has just turned 66 I won't be changing him now.
WMC books have to wait for me to read them as my daughter has some of them and so I am reading the stand alone stories. I never thought it would happen but I have come across a JP book that is hard for me to read. I started reading the Jester about a fortnight ago and I'm just not enjoying it.All JPs other books have been page turners for me but this one I'm thinking of putting down and not picking it up again.
I saw your photos and your pup is beautiful. She looks just like I thought she would although I guess she is much bigger now. They grow so quickly.
I suppose you are well and truly over the hols now as we are. My school is in the middle of being upgraded and it is like being in the middle of a building site. Everyone is doing their best but we will be glad when we can move into our new buildings and the couple that are staying are being renovated so it will be like a new school. Hopefully the last term will see us all settled.
Well I'm going to go and pick out another book to read. Don't know which one yet but will let you know next time I write. Keep well and safe

Bushfire tragedy

Thanks to all my friends who have enquired about the bushfires in Australia. it seems that between 200 to 300 people have lost their lives, it sounds like the fires spread so quickly that people just didnt get the time to get out, so stayed and tried to survive, but again the fires were fierce too, "like a tornado...it was raining fire."
it has happened in Victoria, the small state in the south eastern corner of Australia and is a national tragedy. please pray for the survivors and thank God for… Continue

Weight loss accountability

I have decided that I really need to lose weight this year, its just crept up on me! I would blame my love of reading and using the computer, but its really laziness and chocolate addiction! If you would like someone to help keep you accountable to your plan to lose weight, visit me on my page and let me know your goals and plans and we can encourage each other! I am aiming for 10kg, about 1 1/2 stone.
We can do it!

Firstly Happy New Year everyone and if you havent said hi to me last year, well pop on over to my page and say hi this year!
mixed feelings about the end of the year as we had a great Christmas with close family at our home, then my hubby's 40th birthday, then my girls went to see their dad for 3 weeks and then we had 3 nights away together which was relaxing and lovely. Then when we got back, we saw how sick our old (19yrs) blue heeler was that we rang the vet to have her put down. I crie… Continue
