Yes DM-R, it does make for long days without something good (and even bad) to read; however I mislead when I say nothing to read thee in the country house. There are 18 or 20 more boxes of books to unpack and shelve, I've just not gotten round to put up book cases for them.
I have to admit to just being lazy since I go there to unwind and chill after along week and 2 hr drive. Now that winter is here I'll make the time in January, after the holidays. i'm sure I'll find lots of old friends.

Love to read Ann Rice and JK Rowling. I even like the other two books by Dan Brown that have nothing to do with Robert Langdon. he is good. I like to read Jonathan Kellerman, and I am Now getting into Lee Child.

I am on a constant list of rotating authors and book series.
At this time, my favorite authors are and in no particular order:
Robert E Howard (Conan Novels)
Anne Rice (The Vampire Chronicles)
Steve Berry (Cotton Malone Series)
Jack Whyte (The Skystone Series and Templar Trilogy)
Matthew Reilly (Scarecrowna Jack West Series)
JK Rowling (Harry Potter Series)
Dan Brown (Robert Langdon Series)

LOL I think I keep the book publishers in business... :P I also read individual novels from time to time. I hope I helped some people choose new novels to read.
