Welcome all to the Nana Mama's Recipe Exchange Group.

Reading the Cross series you will know that Nana is a great cook.

She loves to cook for her family.
So this is our way to bring her love for her family, friends, and of course her love of cooking here for us to share as well.

When POSTING a new recipe you take the same steps above.
Once you click on View all look for the discussion that fits your recipe.
For example if you want to post a recipe for sweet potatoes.
You would look for the discussion name Potatoes.
Click on that
Once you open the page you will see a box that says Reply to This
Post your recipe there. When done click on add reply.

I will be featuring a recipe from time to time on here.

If you have tried any of the recipes on this site we would love to hear your comments.
I have made a discussion name Review The Recipes Here for this reason.
You can find this the same way you would a recipe.

If there's a discussion you are looking for and it has not been started please leave a comment on the first page of our group and I would be more than happy to start it for you = )

If recipes are not posted in their appropriate place I will move them so it would be easier for us to find at a later date = )

Sorry if this is a little to long but I know that if we all follow the steps here we can make this work.
If you have any new ideas for the site please let me know. I could use all the help I can lol

Now stop reading this and go post recipes = )

Don't forget to send Lindsay samples for her approval = )

Not really, I kinda made it up.....my grandma taught me how to cook and she just used what was there. I don't know to much in life....I am smart but not outstanding...just a normal person...BUT boy can I cook...just ask my hubby!!

You could call it Bubba Bake..after my hubby. (His real name is not Bubba, but he has been called that forever so that is what he goes by)

Hey all, got a quickie dinner when the day just gets away from you....
1 can precooked chicken...like you would use for chicken salad
1 can carrots
1 can peas
1 can green beans can use whatever kind of veggies you have on hand
2 cans cream of mushroom soup or cream of chicken
2 envelopes instant turkey gravy DO NOT MIX WITH WATER
enough mashed potatoes to cover a baking dish...use instant taters
2 cups or so grated cheddar cheese
garlic salt
pepper
paprika

mix soup with gravy mix....add one cup water and spices
drain and mix in chicken and veggies
add whatever extra spices or flavors you like
top with mashed taters and then top that with the grated cheese
bake in baking dish for 30-45 minutes at 350
It is done when it is bubbly, golden brown and smells yummy!!!!

Madagascar Bourbon is Vanilla extract, I got it from Costco. But you can use vanilla extract or just plain Bourbon. My sister made it and used Bourbon she had in the house. She said her family loved it.

Hi Valerie,
First of all welcome to the group = )
I believe that Madagascar Bourbon is like a vanilla extract.
I will message Yolanda to see if she can tell us exactly what it is. I will keep you posted if I found out anything
