Who Should Play Alex Cross?

There's talk in Hollywood about a new Alex Cross movie.... I can't say much, but I can say that. Who do you think should play Alex? Jamie Foxx? Denzel? Someone we've never seen before? Did you like Morgan Freeman as Alex?

THANK YOU!!!! Brian White would be PERFECT especially if they are starting the series from the beginning...meaning before Alex Jr. Brian White is also in the new series "Man of a Certain Age" he's not one of the main characters he is a young man trying to take the spot of the African American car salesman. I like the idea of some new and fresh. I think Will Smith would be great for a movie but a TV series would better suite a relatively unknown actor better.

I love Morgan Freeman but not as Alex. He just does not fit, I don't like the fact that his family is not portrayed properly and that Sampson is not around as he should be. When I first started the Cross series, years ago, I pictured Denzel. Now I am re-reading the enitre series and I picture an actor whose name I cannot come up with. He is a supporting actor and I have seen him in several movies and TV shows, but I cannot recall who he is. UGH! Please no Jamie Foxx! Will Smith would be good in this role though.

OK, I would have loved to see Freeman replay Cross, but he's way beyond Cross' age. Denzel has always been my pick for Cross since Morgan passed the age of believability as Cross. Michael Clarke Duncan is too big for Sampson. I see Sampson as big, but quick. Michael Clarke Duncan doesn't seem "quick." Dennis Haysbert looks the part of Sampson, not Cross.
